Our Story
James Tan started iCare Aircon in 2016 with a small team of experienced technicians and one clear mission: deliver air conditioning services calibrated specifically for Singapore's intense, year-round humidity. Standard cooling solutions fell short, and he saw an opportunity to build something residents could genuinely trust for long-term comfort and air quality.
From a single service van in Jurong West, word spread quickly through local HDB estates and condominiums. Ten years and over 12,450 completed jobs later, our team of 8 dedicated staff dispatches daily across the island. We combine deep technical knowledge with eco-conscious practices, advising clients on energy-efficient setups and ensuring safe chemical disposal at every job site.
What Makes Us Different
We calibrate every system for Singapore's 80%+ humidity, maximising cooling efficiency while preventing the condensation and mould issues common in HDB flats and condos. Our environmental science expertise drives sustainable practices across all jobs, including low-GWP refrigerant handling and proper chemical wash waste disposal.
Every technician provides clear, upfront quotes before work begins. We believe in repairing over replacing whenever possible. The result: transparent flat-rate pricing, a 90-day workmanship warranty on every job, and no surprise invoices. If we fixed it and it recurs within 90 days, we come back at zero cost.
Our Team
iCare Aircon's team is led by James Tan (20+ years in complex diagnostics and large-scale installations), Sandra Lim (15 years industry experience, B.Sc. Environmental Science), and Marcus Wong (BCA Certified, 8 years in residential and commercial cooling). Every technician is brand-certified on Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Panasonic, so when your unit flashes an error code, we know the fault tree by memory.
